RossK, author of the The Pacific Gazette, has something to say about blog coverage versus media coverage of Monday’s Basi-Virk pre-trial hearings, that resulted in some pretty nasty comments directed at myself here in the comments section under that days report. While the first comment attacked my writing and coverage, the second became quite personal, [...]

~ Susan Heyes, owner: Hazel & Co. Maternity, ( Victorious Cambie Street Merchant,), on why she was in attendance at the Basi/Virk/Basi hearing yesterday.
It is interesting to note that all lawyers who appear in the Supreme court, refer to each other as ” My friend/s” .
This became an increasing source of amusement for myself during the [...]

I recently authored a post that is again receiving considerable attention, due in part it appears, to a comment left by ‘RickW’, below the Tyee’s front page column today: http://thetyee.ca/Views/2009/04/29/PayRaises/
Thank you, RickW - my hope is to inform as many people as possible about this sell-off, and see if we can’t get some answers as to why this is happening considering [...]

Need I say more?
I’m working on bringing you something very eye-opening and pertinant, regarding a not-a-lobbyist-with-no-connections, lobbyist.
A blast from the past.
Until then, enjoy the sun. Plant some nicotiana. Get your hands dirty. Drink wine with lunch.

I love the Gazetteer’s blog.
I love the way he writes, his quick zing of humour mixed in with a sharp dose of reality. To the point without all the fuss.
And today is no exception. Ooooh. I like THIS!!
The premier has been using the excuse that he can’t answer the questions about Patrick Kinsella ,CN, and BC [...]

In a bold move today, NDP MLA Leonard Krog stood on the steps of the BC Law courts building and called for a criminal investigation into that lobbyist about town, Patrick Kinsella, regarding his involvement with CN during the BC Rail deal. Now, if only we knew where Kinsella is… and what campaign he\’s working on [...]

An interesting ‘Media Release’ came across the desk this afternoon… perhaps it would be more appropriately titled: ” As the Worm Turns”, because this continues to read like a bad soap opera. Why is it that when you hear the words allegations of conflict and improper lobbying, they are always followed by the same peoples names?
Nanaimo [...]

I find it ironic that after previously distancing himself from Kinsella and refusing to answer any questions regarding Kinsella’s involvement with the BC Hydro/Accenture business( by saying the matter is before the courts when clearly it is not ) – that Gordon Campbell would then welcome Kinsella back into the fold for this campaign. Speaks [...]

…having co-chaired the Liberals’ 2001 and 2005 campaigns.
A wonderful bit of work has come my way from a very keen source, that I would like to share with you – it’s a chart detailing Kinsella’s dealings. Forgive the format- wordpress isn’t always the best for dealing with the charts. I am hoping a hyperlink becomes [...]
