I have had to reset my TV to wake me up with CNN rather than CityTV.
Foolish, foolish decision to say the least.

Sorry, but please don’t sign the petition. Someone set up a petition for Global or CBC to hire the Dave and Simi morning combo. Let CityTV burn with its new festering pile of excrement morning show.

This Sucks
I am saddened by the changes at Breakfast TV. Simi, Dave and Tasha were why i tuned in every morning. What is BT management thinking? Simi and Dave were the show and now……..I can’t even watch it! I know that all three will land on their feet and do bigger and better things and i wish them all the best.
I must be a slow learner because up until today I kept turning on BT and wondering where Dave, Simi and Tasha were. Their replacements are just “okay” and I’ve decided not to watch now I know what happened.
What a HUGE mistake City TV has made. If this is their idea of a new direction … they must be very lost!
Dave and Simi … please find a new location so I can get my morning fix! I MISS BOTH OF YOU!

I kept thinking Simi and Dave were on vacation!! Now that I know they’re not coming back I’m outta there. City TV you’ll be sorry when all your viewers go elsewhere. Simi and Dave made the show….as well as Tasha. Not to diss who’s left ….I’m sure they’re all very talented….but maybe someone should advise Dawn in her wardrobe choices. It was a curiosity each morning to see what large flowered print she would wear that day…..or which floppy sleeved top it would be….ugh….

We thought Dave and Simi were on some kind of extended holiday. We have just found out that Dave and Simi were fired. We have been struggling in the mornings to watch BT. We have continued to watch every morning in the hope that Dave and Simi would be back from their holiday. Alas, it looks like this will be quite the holiday. Rogers and BT are complete idiots. We will no longer watch BT. We will be watching another channel until a) they come back or b) some other channel hires them. Thanks Dave, Simi and Tasha for getting us both started in the morning…you guys were sooo funny.
Like others, I didn’t know what happened to Simi and Dave. I finally realized it wasn’t holidays or anything good. My disappointment is profound — it just isn’t the same despite the fact I have nothing against the current hosts. A friend of mine turned me on to BT when she told me it was Simi and Dave hosting it. Now I’ll probably go back to radio in the morning while I prepare for work. I really enjoyed the chemistry and laughs.
BT’s management is shortsighted. I’ll be writing them to tell them that. I hope Simi and Dave / Dave and Simi resurface somewhere, and soon. My thanks to them for making my mornings so good.
i tuned in every morning to see dave&simi,i went on vacation and to my surprise when i got back there was no dave,and no simi.I dont no what your thinking.guess I will have to watch a differant show.sorry.
My husband and I were watching Dave and Simi everymoring before heading to work – it was like a ritual. Suddenly they were gone and we started wondering what happened until I finally “Googled” on them today and was shock to discover they were FIRED ??? What …???
Needless to say no more Breakfast TV for us – I can’t stand the humourless Mark and evern more so Dawn Chubai – God, everything that comes out of this woman’s mouth is forced, nothing comes naturally. My impression is that she wants to be Cool but she sounds/looks nothing like it – because either you are born with it or not!
BT really SUCKS without Simi and Dave. I loved watching them in the morning. They lost another viewer ’cause the people they have on now have no personality and really shouldn’t be on television. Bring back Simi and Dave!!!
My hsband and I agree, the loss of Simi/Dave Dave/ Simi and Tasha, from bt is still unbelievable, and a mystery as to why. The turkeys at bt didn’t know there were eagles in the house.
