For Those dealing with Pre-Cancerous Cervical changes

This post is for the friend of a friend, that I found out today is going through a situation not unlike the one I went through years ago. Dealing with the realities of pre-cancerous lesions and cells on your cervix can be a scary and confusing time, but it is also a time in which you need to keep your wits about you and be your own advocate. Making informed choices now, can save you a world of trouble down the road by preserving your fertility and childbearing options. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a support group for this kind of thing, but if there is anyone out there who needs to talk, or advice on options and consequences, please, feel free to email me via the contact page. I am always glad to answer any questions about what I went through and how it has affected  both my fertility and births since the procedures and operation I underwent during my years dealing with cancerous changes to my cervix.

The following links take you to two articles I’ve done about different aspects of HPV and cervical cancer.
