As I mentioned recently, my birthday is approaching soon, and I hear that its an astronomically lucky date this year. Thousands upon thousands of hopeful brides and grooms will be tying the knot that day in an effort to bless the conjugal union. I think it takes more than a mere date on a calender to make a marriage work, but hey, whatever works for you.
08/08/08/. Maybe I’ll buy a lottery ticket.
Like many people, I tend to think of birthdays as milestones – not for what I’ve done, but for what I have yet to do. This year I’m getting a tattoo. Before you get all freaked out,it’s not going to be one anyone can see but me, because it’s for me. It is something I can look at when I’ve “hit the wall” during a marathon, and it will remind me of what I’ve already conquered and overcome in my life. It will be a physical reminder that impossible is only a word, when I get caught in the momentary fear that ” I just can’t do it. “
My Chinese horoscope predicted the last year was to be a transitional one for me, full of changes and achievements, and it was. I had a radio talk show, ( only three hours, but hey I still had one…lol), made the leap to kick start a writing career, modelled, lost 140 lbs, and had a baby – and the birth- I was told was not possible.
Impossible, my friends, truly is just a word.
So, in the spirit of wanting to inspire others to achieve greatness in whatever way matters to your life, I bring you this wonderfully pertinent bit of writing that has brought tears, laughter and wry acknowledgement and realization to people around the world.

Ladies and gentlemen of the class of ‘97:
Wear sunscreen.
Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth. Oh, never mind, you will never understand the power and the beauty of your youth until they’ve faded. But trust me, in twenty years you will look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked. You are not as fat as you imagine.
Don’t worry about the future, or worry knowing that worrying is as affective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind. The kind that blindsides you at 4 PM on some idle Tuesday.
Do one thing every day that scares you. Sing. Don’t be reckless with other peoples’ hearts; don’t put up with people who are reckless with yours.
Floss.
Don’t waste your time on jealously, sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes you’re behind. The race is long and in the end, it’s only with yourself.
Remember compliments you receive, forget the insults. If you succeed in doing this, tell me how.
Keep your old love letters; throw away your old bank statements.
Stretch.
Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know what to do withyour life. The most interesting people I know didn’t know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40-year-olds I know still don’t.
Get plenty of calcium. Be kind to knees, you’ll miss them when they’re gone. Maybe you’ll marry, maybe you won’t. Maybe you’ll have children, maybe you won’t. Maybe you’ll divorce at 40, maybe you’ll dance the “Funky Chicken” on your 75th wedding anniversary. Whatever you do, don’t congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself either. Your choices are half chance. So are everybody else’s.
Enjoy your body. Use it every way you can. Don’t be afraid of it or what other people think of it. It’s the greatest instrument you’ll ever own. Dance. Even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room.
Read the directions even if you don’t follow them. Do not read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly.
Get to know your parents. You never know when they’ll be gone for good. Be nice to your siblings. They are your best link to your past and the people most likely to stick with you in the future.
Understand that friends come and go but a precious few you should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps between geography and lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need the people you knew when you were young.
Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard.
Live in northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft.
Travel.
Accept certain inalienable truths: prices will rise, politicians will philander, you too will get old and when you do, you’ll fantasize that when you were young, prices were reasonable, politicians were noble, and children respected their elders.
Respect your elders.
Don’t expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you’ll have a wealthy spouse, but you’ll never know when either one will run out. Don’t mess too much with your hair or by the time you’re forty, it will look eighty-five.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.
Advice is a form of nostalgia. Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off,painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it’s worth.
But trust me on the sunscreen.

Was wondering if you would be interested in being a moderator at an event at city hall in October. I am bringing in several speakers to prove to the community that the CIA was complicit in international drug trafficking.
These speakers are to testify in the upcoming trial against the city of Abbotsford. There is no doubt in my mind that I will win my law suit against the city.
I am suing them for violating my freedom of expression and my freedom of speech.
The right to recieve all the information as a voter to make an informed decision.

I am sure you will agree that with one of the major benefits of tagging, is the ability to become aware of problematic events/situations much sooner, and to articulate a response to such problems using a combination of both digital and physical actions. ie In other words, to provide a ‘practical means of coordination’ in a self-reflexive manner. ie, Gorrilla Marketing.
The ‘new agoras’ use feedback mechanisms whereby participants keep a check on one another, thereby hoping to escape the pit of ‘dumb decisions’ by moving towards the ‘wisdom of the crowds’.
In this analysis the weaknesses of the individual are compensated by the contributions of the many. And maybe this is a workable form of ‘collective intelligence’ worth developing.

What I like about you Laila, is how you avoid looking and commenting about the research.
Lets me know that you are looking for common answers.
You will never solve the crime and drug problems if you do not stop the source of supply. Next, will you be like Fred Johns and claim I never sent you any research?
My question is, why do you recomend research and solutions about drugs, crime and government corruption, when the public record clearly shows that we are being fed the supply from the top. You have been given the research.
Now you have been given the information about the complicity of the CIA and their drug trafficking. You have been offered the chance to interview the speakers for this fall’s presentations.
When I google your name and tag crime, newton and such, you have written plenty of articles. With 10,000 police, CIA, DEA, Judges, lawyers, prison guards and border guards, speaking out against drug prohibition and the police corruption it creates, when I google your name and add the tag drug prohibition, I get nada, zip, zero.
So, besides the fact that there has been only one other time in history that society has been beset by such social problems as gangs, property crime, street prostitution and drive by shootings is during acohol prohibition.
I find that your refusal to accept this segway, leaves a troubling sound.
Do you understand the information and connection about alcohol and drug prohibition and the effects of prohibition. Why do you refuse to do any research? Ignoring the information does not make you right.
This segway has been found to be a finding of fact in the supreme court of Canada. This segway is the one that will sink the city of Abbotsford’s defense in my law suit.
Sorry, but I keep winning in court on that segway alone. The courts have found that drug prohibition raises the level of criminality being put upon us.
They have declared the causation of our increased levels of criminality is drug prohibition.
Professor Plecas and the city will have to stand before the courts and state why they have ignored this segway as the causation of our gang problems.

Did you know that to win a seat for city council it takes only 8,000 votes in Abbotsford?
There is approximately 40,000 voters and each voter gets 8 votes.
Last election it only took 6,700 votes to get on city council. This election there will be 40 canadiates and it will take only 8,000 votes to get on city council.
Most people in Abbotsford have concluded that all present city council members have to go. Most people I talk to in Abbotsford are tired of drug prohibition and want drug peace.
The point I am trying to make is my support is growing and it looks like I will be able to secure a seat on city council. It looks like you and I are to debate these issues in the public eye.

I don’t give a rat’s ass about what goes on in Abbotsford, Tim, and I don’t think going down the road of abolishing drug prohibition is the answer or solution for our societies ailments. You will have to satisfy yourself with debating the people who care in your neck of the woods.

This all began with violence, domestic assault and abuse. That was the issue that brought you here. Your questionable responses towards the topic resulted in my intolerance for your attitude. You have shared your story, and your cause with my readers and myself. Perhaps one day, you will realise there are other,equally important stories that may result in you expanding your mind a little , as well. What brought me to your sight was your comments and stories about crime and government.
In Febuary of 2008, Abbotsford Chamber of Commerence had a breakfast and they asked the question “Would Surrey’s crime strategy work in Abbotsford”?
This promises to be the question of the election for 2008. I said No.
Have you ever had a chance to look at the studies for the La Dain commission.
This is a peer reviewed study, but the findings of fact in the supreme court of canada was the same. Drug prohibition raises the level of criminality being put upon us and does more harm that marijuana itself would ever.
More drug prohibition (enforcement) will only increase the levels of criminality being put upon us and futher clog the over burden courts.
I do not think this is a big intellectual stretch to image that by taking the drug cases out of the courts that you will free time and resources for other crimes such as domestic violence.
As a matter of fact I have several judges that will tell you the same thing, if you care to interview them.
What I would like to know is; Why do you keep avoiding the scientific data and emperical evidence or information?
The CIA is complicit in international drug trafficking and that includes supplying drugs into Canada. You have been offered that support documentation.

Prosecuting a drug war on our children, when we are being fed the supply from the top down will never work. You have been offered the support documentation for CIA drug dealing and that information is to be presented to the supreme court of canada this fall.
That is information that Professor Plecas refuses to take into consideration.
He has been presented the information and he refuses to address it, that is why the civil suit against him is to include, wilful ignorance, breech of duty and reckless endangerment of the community.
If you want me to go away quickly, focus your writings on the support documentation I have provided you and not my character. Tell the people of Abbotsford that you agree with Tim Felger. Surrey’s crime strategy will not work in Abbotsford.
I am willing to provide you with interviews for any of the lawyers and judges that agree with me. For the last time, my job is to get you to interview them.
That is something Fred Johns refused to do, but on the rare occassion that he did, he was astonded.
Here is such an interview. The judge clearly states that the matrix of marshal law has been put in place. The judge clearly states that Stephen Harper took the Bildenberger oath. The judge clearly states that the facts indicate that the government had fore knowledge of 9-11.

Listen, this is quite simple really, we are living in a closing democracy. That is a fact. The drug war is eroding our rights, at a time when it is important not to.
You have refused the science about the flaws in your recomendations, The city of Abbotsford and Professor Plecas both share your views. They also will both lose in court, just simply because they are wilfully ignorant of the facts.
My law suit states that they knew or should have known.

I want you to do some investagive journalism about what you are recomending, before you recomend more crime fighting and enforcement policies that are hurting Abbotsford.

The civil suit against the city of Abbotsford is all that but also includes violating my freedom of speech. They took down my election signs three times over 6 years.
