If you havent been following, a reader has literally flooded my comments section , and spam catcher, with his views against abortion, after asking me the question, “Since when do women start playing God?”.

Apparently, he was over the spam wordcount limit on the majority of his comments , and so he re-wrote and tried posting again. Here is one of the responses that was caught in the spam, taken directly from my spam box. There were several others I simply deleted. Not only am I accused of being “a mass murderer”, I am also told I would make a good Nazi, since in his eyes I am advocating selective birth, when nothing could be further than the truth. He has referred to me as a man basher, however he calls women who have abortions “freeloader females who shrug off responsibility“. He attacks me on the basis that I am “not a good spiritual person”, because I am not Christian, and dont have a relationship with God.
To clarify, I support a womans right to choose. I am not a “man-basher”, (I find men quite endearing and essential to daily life 
), and I also support Bill C-484, which will make it a crime to harm an unborn child during an attack on its mother.
That same bill also protects a womans right to choose an abortion, and makes that exemption under the proposed changes. Although some (and obviously this reader is among them) may think that being Pro-Choice makes you a mass murderer, or a Nazi, it is a right upheld by the Supreme Court of Canada. While I admire the strength of his convictions, I do not advocate what I consider to be the following narrow and one-sided views. To limit, or take away, freedom of choice, is to limit the conciousness of our nation.

Seems like you hit a nerve Laila. There are so many contradictory items in the diatribe, one hardly knows where to start. Perhaps a general observation or two are in order.
Effective discourse requires ‘affirmative constructive’ terms, a concept with which I am afraid tomax does not grasp. A decent rebuttal requires ‘negative rebuttal’ terms, another concept tomax does not grasp.

That someone would risk this speaks volumes to character. This is extremely juvenile behavior, and unbefitting you, Tom. Another way is to continually send slanderous and harassing comments repeatedly, by yourself, or by any of your firend and associates.
Think about your actions carefully and completely before you go too far. I believe you are a decent man, but one who is making a big mistake with his actions and written, published comments.

Interesting in another post I was threatened with a trouncing – “Hear, Hear! Oh GetReal… you haven’t even begun to see a real trouncing.”
This is a clear threat as well as an accusation that more to come. Does this ‘real’ trouncing entail physical, mental or emotional violence?
Please tell your lawyer to record this also…I believe the term ‘trouncing’ is describing an illegal act of doing harm to another person.

I must say that I find the remarks that flooded your blog, including the above noted, eerily similar to the campaigns initiated and waged by members of the Church of Scientology.
I see that the offending sites have been removed. Good thing, but too late for dear tomax. I requested one of my lawyers have a quick look and I am sure your legal adviser told you the same, that there is already a case at hand should you wish to pursue it. I think a bit of your reality check may have had an effect in removal.
The near primordial hysteria shown by tomax is quite common with religious zealots. Although you cannot discount that tomax at the moment could be penned by his significant other.
Having earlier detected instability, I did offer a link to the Alberta psychologists’ website for his benefit.
In absence of availing himself of reasonable assistance he should review this video, which may provide some direction in terms he probably can understand.
